The Ed Banger Records muse is coming to Lisbon and will be performing at Lux on the 1st of May. Anna-Catherine Hartley, mostly known as Uffie, was born in the United States, grew up in Japan and now lives in France where she fell in love with electro music and Dj Feadz. After 5 EP’s, the long awaited debut album of this electro princess will be released on May 31. It goes by the name of ”Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans” and it was co-produced by Mr. Oizo, Sebastian, amongst other famous names. Just perfect.

Anna-Catherine Hartley, mais conhecida por Uffie, nasceu nos Estados-Unidos, cresceu no Japão e agora vive em França, onde se apaixonou pela música electrónica e pelo Dj Feadz, agora ex-namorado, que muito contribuiu para o seu sucesso. Após 5 EP’s editados, o esperado álbum de estreia desta princesa do electro vai ser lançado no próximo dia 31 de Maio. Chama-se “Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans” e conta com a colaboração de nomes sonantes como Mr. Oizo, Sebastian, entre outros. Perfeito.

Gotta agree somewhat with Christopher Gesualdi above though, the album, minus her cover of Siouxsie’s Hong Kong Garden (available here I believe http://www.versionsgalore.com/2010/05/29/hong-kong-modern/) was kind of a disapointment.
