Zeds Dead made a nice dubstep version of Massive Attack‘s Paradise Circus.I like the aggressive synths mixed with the soft and feminine voice. And even if we see the same formula everyday… I like how it came out!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to experience a Breakbot DJ set on our beloved LUX, event promoted by the also beloved DiscoTexas. It was really, really good. I thought it could be a good gesture to post one of his remixes (that he actually played last night!), namely Pnau‘s “Baby”.
Ontem tivémos a oportunidade de experienciar um DJ set de Breakbot no nosso querido LUX, evento promovido pelos também queridos DiscoTexas. Foi mesmo muito, muito forte. Eu achei que seria um bom gesto postar um dos remixes dele (que por acaso ele passou ontem!), nomeadamente a Baby dos Pnau.

TDCC, I have to be honest, the first version (not the one from their album) of Something Good Can Work is, still, the best one. Nevertheless, The Twelves give a lovely twist to the song. These last guys are going to attend Rock In Rio this year and I’m definitely not going to see them. Wrong festival guys, wrong festival!
TDCC, eu tenho de ser honesto, a primeira versão (não a do álbum) da Something Good Can Work é, ainda, a melhor. Ainda assim, os The Twelves conseguem dar um twist apreciável à música. Estes últimos vão ao Rock In Rio este ano e eu não vou vê-los de certeza. Festival errado malta, festival errado!

Everyone knows how dissapointing Crookers have been lately, but this song really caught my attention. Maybe it’s Yelle, maybe it’s Junkie XL or maybe Crookers are just getting back on the right track, who knows?
Toda a gente sabe quão desapontante os Crookers têm sido, mas esta música ficou-me no ouvido. Secalhar é a Yelle, secalhar é o Junkie XL ou secalhar os Crookers estão a voltar a fazer cenas de jeito, quem sabe?

Foals, one of my favourite bands, are back, after a long period without news. Last time I heard about them they were on a studio in Sweden. They’re back with “Spanish Sahara” and we have a Mount Kimbie remix as well. The new album is expected to drop on the 10th of May. Hallelujah!
Os Foals, uma das minhas bandas preferidas, estão de volta, depois de um longo periodo sem notícias. A última vez que ouvi falar deles estavam num estúdio na Suécia. Eles estão de volta com “Spanish Sahara” e nós temos aqui um remix de Mount Kimbie também. O novo álbum está previsto sair dia 10 de Maio. Aleluia!

Jakwob is the reason why Dubstep always kept me interested (nowadays, I actually enjoy it). Though I like this one, I still have as my favourites Ellie Goulding remixes. Kid Sister‘s “Daydreaming” is gonna hit the stores on 19th April.
O Jakwob é a razão pela qual o Dubstep sempre me manteve interessado (hoje em dia, eu gosto de facto). Apesar de gostar deste, eu ainda tenho como favoritos os remixes da Ellie Goulding. “DayDreaming” da Kid Sister, vai chegar às lojas dia 19 de April.
