Tokyo Police Club

So, I just got word from Tokyo Police Club that they’ll be touring with Two Door Cinema Club on U.S. and Canada. Can you please do that in Portugal as well? I would pay my month salary for seeing these two bands playing on one night. True story. I’ve been hearing TPC latest album, “Champ” and I can now say this album is fierce. Not quite simple and direct as the other two (a bit longer as well), more mature and somehow more complex.

Acabei de saber que os Tokyo Police Club vão fazer uma tour com os Two Door Cinema Club pelos EUA e Canadá. Será que podem fazer isso em Portugal também? Eu pagava o meu salário mensal para ver estas duas bandas tocarem na mesma noite! Juro. Tenho andado a ouvir o último cd de TPC, “Champ” e posso agora dizer que o álbum tá forte. Não tão simples nem directo como os outros dois (maior também), mais conciso e de alguma forma mais complexo

Tokyo Police Club are, without any doubts, one of my favourite bands. Their short-lenght albums may confuse most of the fans but I can’t stop loving them. They’re kids, they’re concise and they’re really, really good. Their new album “Champ” is coming soon (June 8th) and the band is giving out the first single. The video is basically the brief history of this new record.

Os Tokyo Police Club são, sem dúvidas nenhumas, uma das minhas bandas preferidas. A brevidade dos albúns pode confundir grande parte dos fans mas eu não consigo deixar de os adorar. São putos, são concisos e são muito, muito bons. O novo álbum, “Champ”, vem aí (8 de Junho) e a banda está a dar o novo single. O vídeo é basicamente uma história deste novo CD.
