Sorry to announce this is our last post, but not the last thing we do on music. We just moved our stuff to a new project that hopes to reach far beyond this blog. We will still gather the best music and distribute, this time only in Portuguese (since we’re trying to do our thing with our own population). Feel free to share and please visit us anytime

“When you come back, make sure you come back big”. If this is not a famous quote, it should be. We’ve been away for a few weeks, but fear not my friends. We are alive and well. We’ve been preparing a whole new layout and concept for the blog, so be patient with us. Talking about comebacks, The Strokes released their first single from the new album, their 4th and it’s a winner to me. The whole thing is released on the 22th of March!
“Quando regressares, certifica-te que o fazes em grande”. Se isto não é uma frase famosa, devia ser. Temos estado um pouco ausente nas últimas semanas, mas não se assustem amigos. Estamos vivos e bem. Temos estado a preparar um layout e um conceito novo para o blog, por isso sejam pacientes connosco. Falando de regressos, os The Strokes lançaram o 1º single do novo álbum e para mim, já ganhou. O álbum tem release marcado para o dia 22 do próximo mês.

From almost one year I have what many call the perfect life – even if there’s no such thing as a perfect life. I’m in Barcelona with buddies, money and parties. But every time I think I have everything…I realize that sometimes everything is not what I need. And I stumble. And I fall. So I woke up today feeling exactly what The Shoes‘s song talks about… And then I heard the Tahiti Boy version. Well. I like it. Well. Everyone needs a change! Cheers!
Tenho o que muitos podem chamar uma vida perfeita – mesmo que por aí não haja nada de vidas perfeitas. Estou em Barcelona com amigos, dinheiro e festas. Mas sempre que penso que tenho tudo… Chego à conclusão de que por vezes tudo não é o que precisamos. E tropeço. E caio. E hoje acordei exactamente a sentir o que esta música dos The Shoes escreve… E depois ouvi a versão de Tahiti Boy. E bem. Gostei. E bem… Toda a gente precisa de uma mudança! Cheers!
